An 11-year-old boy from Raynham is recovering after his bicycle collided with a car last Friday in Taunton. Alexandre Tkhilaishuili reportedly rode his bike down a long driveway and then pulled out onto South Walker Street.
Beverly Mello, 59, hit the boy as he swerved to avoid her car. He hit her windshield in the crash and sustained lacerations from it. He was transported to Morton Hospital before he was taken to Children’s Hospital in Boston.
Tkhilaishuli is in good condition according to a hospital spokesperson.
