Our eighteen-year-old client was driving on an interstate into
the early morning sun. As he drove over a rise in the road,
he struck a car that was disabled and stopped in the middle
of the road because a 150-pound wheel and tire detached from
a tractor-trailer rig traveling in the opposite direction.
The lugs holding the tire had broken off, causing the tire
and wheel to travel across the median strip, and hit and
disable the stopped vehicle.
Awarded: $ 3.5 million
Our client an 86 year-old woman sustained an injury
after being struck by a bus. The inattentive bus driver
was warned by a passenger that the woman was crossing
in front of the bus but could not stop in time to avoid impact.

when a large box truck made a U-turn into his path of travel.
The client attempted to avoid the collision by laying his
motorcycle on its side. Unfortunately his lower leg and
ankle came in contact with the truck causing seven
fractures and soft tissue injury.

Who is liable when your car or truck is defective?
The auto manufacturer is!
There are several design flaws in all SUVs, no matter who the car maker might be. These vehicles were originally designed for off-road use, not for highways, and the design has never been modified for the occupant's safety. The last design update was in 1994!
More than 10,000 people are killed in rollover accidents each year. This does not take into account how many others are killed from other accidents such as head-on or side-impact accidents.
Who can help if you have been injured in a rollover accident?
If you were injured an SUV rollover accident, or if your loved one was injured or killed in a rollover accident, you should consult with an experienced personal injury attorney who can evaluate your injuries and damages.
An attorney that specializes in personal injury and product liability cases understands that not all the medical and financial damages from an accident are known immediately. The attorneys at the Law Office of Kiley Law Group will take this into account when fighting to obtain the compensation you deserve from the insurance companies.
Remember: the job of the insurance company is to settle claims quickly and for as little money as possible. Our firm is familiar with this tactic--we are your advocate, not the insurance company's.
(In some cases--when product liability is to blame--your lawyer may refer you to another attorney who specializes in class-action lawsuits. Class-action lawsuits are different than individual lawsuits, so the attorney you hire must be experienced in the requirements needed to proceed with your claim. Class-action lawsuits involve many victims and many different insurance companies so the legal team you choose must have this specialized experience.)
