Cory White, 40, of Chelsea died after sustaining fatal injuries in a motorcycle accident last night in Chelsea when his Triumph motorcycle went off of a raised portion of Route 1 north and then crashed onto 6th Street below.
Officials reported that White fell roughly 30 feet off of Route 1 before he landed onto the roadway. The deadly crash took place just before 7:00pm.
The Boston Globe reports that the Massachusetts State Police are continuing to investigate the tragedy and are encouraging anyone who may have any details about the accident to come forward. Authorities have not publicly stated what may have caused or contributed to the crash at this time.
