One woman was killed and three people were injured after the 1984 Porsche they were riding in crashed into a tree around 1:30a.m. on County Road in Bourne, Massachusetts. The driver and two passengers were seriously injured. A third passenger who had been sitting in the backseat was killed. According to an article on CapeCodOnline, none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts.
At this time, it is unknown if alcohol was involved, but according to Bourne Police Sgt. Dennis Woodside, speed was definitely a factor in the crash. One of the injured passengers turns 21 today. Poor weather conditions may have also played a role in the accident.
The injured were transported to Falmouth Hospital and Tobey Hospital.
