February 2, 2010 – Plymouth, Mass. - A driver sustained personal injuries after a two-car collision Sunday night on Route 3 in Plymouth, Mass.
The rollover crash briefly halted both lanes of traffic on Route 3.
According to The Patriot Ledger, 38-year-old Susan Toto’s 2005 Jeep Cherokee collided with another driver’s 1998 Audi at about 6 p.m. near Exit 3. Police have not yet identified the other driver involved in the Plymouth crash.
Authorities said that Toto was injured when a vehicle rolled over in the crash. The victim was transported to Plymouth’s Jordan Hospital after the rollover accident and she is expected to recover from her personal injuries.
As of this posting, police had not yet provided information about the Audi driver’s name or accident injuries.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s 2008 Massachusetts Crash Statistics, there were 363 fatalities as a result of car accidents in Massachusetts.
