January 26, 2010 – Yarmouthport - One man was sent to the hospital with accident injuries after a two-vehicle DUI car accident around 5 p.m. Sunday.
According to The Cape Cod Times, the injured victim’s car and another vehicle collided near Frances Helen Road on Route 6A. Fortunately, the wounded driver’s injuries are not life threatening, and he was sent to Cape Cod Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the second vehicle was not injured, but was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. The drunk driving accident also resulted in damage to a utility pole that was struck during the crash.
