Eric Fraser Dies After Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Malden

November 8, 2009 – Malden – At the end of October, 38-year-old Eric Fraser suffered serious personal injuries in a motorcycle accident in Malden. Today, Eric Fraser died from his injuries after he was removed from life support, according to the Associated Press.

The motorcycle accident occurred on the night of October 25th, when Fraser collided with another motorcyclist who died the night of the accident. Eric Fraser was treated at Massachusetts General Hospital, but his injuries were too severe. Fraser became well known in Massachusetts after his ex-wife, Kristin LaBrie, was charged with attempted murder in the death of their son.

We offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Eric Fraser for their tragic and heartbreaking loss. Our heart goes out to everybody who knew and loved Mr. Fraser. Please keep them in your prayers.

According to the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security’s 2006 Massachusetts Crash Statistics, there were 404 fatalities as a result of car accidents in Massachusetts. Motorcycle accidents are also on the rise in Massachusetts, as these accident statistics demonstrate.

Motorcycle Accident Causes and Liability Issues

A motorcycle crash can occur for a number of reasons, including the involvement of another vehicle or because the motorcyclist lost control of their bike due to debris on the roadway or some other dangerous condition on the roadway. A motorcyclist could also lose control because of a vehicle defect or a mechanical malfunction. Each motorcycle accident case must be evaluated carefully and investigated thoroughly in order to determine the facts and who is liable.
