Free child safety seats to be distributed June 27, 2009

The following is a press release issued by the Boston Police Department:

WHAT: The Boston Police Department will be issuing and installing complimentary child safety seats to community members. Community members are encouraged to attend this event to receive both the safety seats and instruction on proper installation.

BPD officers recently received extensive specialized training in the installation of these safety devices. Individuals who wish to obtain a free child safety seat are required to bring the motor vehicle that the seat will be installed in.
