Hunting Gear Could Cause Serious Fall

According to www.silive.com 2 hunting products have been recalled because they may cause serious personal injury.

EXO-Tech Safety Harness manufactured by Gorilla, Inc., has a weak attachment for the webbing causing the webbing to possibly tear away and cause the user to fall from a tree. Users of this harness are urged to discontinue using it immediately. Gorilla, Inc., can be reached at 877-685-7817

The second recall is a fixed position tree stand. It is imported by Gander Mountain Company and manufactured by StrongBuilt.  The product has a strap that can be improperly fastened causing it to open suddendly causing the user to fall. These were sold between July of 2008 and July of 2009 at Gander Mountain stores. Injuries reported include a broken pelvis and a broken arm. The models are GMT101 and GMT103.
