On August 10, a construction crane crushed 44-year-old Richard Wallace’s pelvis and caused his bladder to rupture. Wallace was trapped between the 90,000 pound construction crane and his work truck. He was immediately transported to a Boston hospital for treatment.
Wallace, a resident of Lynn, will need to undergo at least six months of physical therapy in order to start walking again. He worked as a mechanic for 10 years with the company Shaughnessy-Amquip.
