One man died in last night’s car/pickup truck accident on Route 28 in Windham, NH, in which two other people suffered serious injuries.
The man’s name was not released, neither were the identities of the two injured (a man and a woman) who were in the second vehicle. For now, we only know that both vehicles had New Hampshire license plates.
The man who died in the car/truck collision was travelling on Route 28 South around 8pm last night when he crossed into the northbound lane. His white Honda Accord struck a red Ford F150 pickup truck with a male driver and a female passenger near the Salem/Windham town line.
The Honda driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. The other two people were also injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
According to police, the Honda driver was “severely entrapped,” and it took a lot of effort to extricate him from the wreck.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear. Police are still investigating the crash. It seems speed was not a factor.
