More Strollers Recalled Due to Fingertip Injuries

January 20, 2010

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) even more strollers are being recalled due to the possibility of fingertip injuries or amputations. This time, Graco Children’s Products of Atlanta is recalling approximately 1.5 million strollers. The strollers are sold under the names of Graco’s Passage™, Alano™ and Spree™ Strollers and Travel Systems. The problem is with the hinge on the strollers canopy and Graco has received reports of amputations and lacerations. The strollers were sold between October 2004 and December 2009 for between $80 and $90 for the strollers and between $150 and $200 for the travel systems.
