The
Consumer Prodect Safety Commission is working with Stork Craft Manufacturing in the recall of over 2.1 million cribs manufactured and sold between January 1993 and October 2009. Some of the cribs have the
Fisher Price logo on them. All of the cribs have a "drop side" that may have broken, missing, or deformed plastic hardware. The problem occurs when the parts malfunction and the drop side releases unexpectedly causing entraptment and/or suffocation.
The cribs were sold in various styles and finishes at the following stores in the U.S. and Canada.
Walmart
BJ’s Wholesale Club
J.C. Penney
Kmart
Meijer
Sears
USA Baby
Online at Amazon.com
Babiesrus.com
Costco.com
Target.com
Walmart.com
The CPSC advises the cribs stop being used immediately.
