Pedestrian Accident on Massachusetts Turnpike Kills One

December 8, 2009 – Grafton - One man is dead after he was hit by a truck Tuesday morning on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Grafton. The unidentified victim had been called to the Turnpike to service a truck that had broken down on the roadway, according to WHDH.com.

The truck accident occurred in the westbound lanes. The victim, who died at the scene, has not been identified. Police have yet to identify the driver of the truck who hit the victim, and they have not said whether the driver will face any charges. The victim worked as a mechanic, but his employer has not been named.
