February 1, 2010 - Norton - A police officer was injured after a 25-year-old driving under the influence of alcohol rammed his vehicle into that of the patrolman early Saturday morning in Norton, Mass.
According to the Boston Herald, Timothy Wall Jr. passed a police officer on Route 140 at about 1 a.m. while traveling 70 mph in a 40 mph zone. When pursued by the officer, Wall attempted to elude him by veering into oncoming traffic. Once Wall pulled over, he put his car in reverse, ramming the cruiser behind him hard enough for it to be pushed backward several feet.
