Two drivers were injured in a three car accident yesterday at the end of Sagamore Bridge in Bourne, Massachusetts. According to the Cape Cod Times, the accident occurred at approximately 3:30p.m. when a SUV and a car collided head-on.
James Audunson, age 57, of Monument Beach, and Emilio Petrillo, age 40, of Norwood, were transported to Jordan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Southbound traffic on Route 3 was delayed by the accident, but the bridge and the road remained open during the event.
It is unclear how the third car was involved in the accident or who police have cited for causing the crash.
