A 2-car accident which occurred in the Back Bay area of Boston this morning involved the New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. It was reported that he was unharmed, but still “shaken” from the accident.
The Washington Post reported that the accident happened at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Gloucester Street.
According to WEEI-AM Radio, Brady walked away from the scene heading for Gillette Stadium (see the WHDH video here).
The accident involved an Audi with New Jersey plates (which is believed to belong to Brady) and a Ford minivan.
One person was removed from a car via the jaws of life and taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
It was initially believed that Brady was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital for treatment, but it turned out that a person from the minivan was the one taken to that hospital.
According to witness accounts that Brady reportedly had a green light at the intersection, while the minivan allegedly ran a red light, at which point, Brady’s Audi ran into the minivan.
