Victim of Natick Collision Involving Bike and SUV Dies

January 25, 2010 – Natick - A bicyclist who was seriously injured after being struck by an SUV last week has died. The 35-year-old man had been transported on Saturday at about 8 p.m. from the scene at West Central Street to Boston’s Massachusetts General Hospital soon after the car accident. He passed away Friday afternoon, nearly a week later.

According to The MetroWest Daily News, the bicycle accident victim suffered from abdominal and head injuries after the crash. Though the names of the driver and victim are being withheld for now, there are reports that the driver of the Ford Explorer is an older man. The car accident is still being investigated.
