February 25, 2010 – Stoughton, Mass. – Witnesses attest that a bicyclist that was struck by a teen driver while crossing through Stoughton Center on Monday night was in the crosswalk at the time of the bike crash.
According to WickedLocal, the unidentified injured bicyclist, who police believe is in his late 30s, was riding toward Washington Street from Park Street when he was struck by a car driven by a17-year-old driver. Witnesses of the accident, which occurred at about 9:30 p.m., claim that the bicyclist was inside the crosswalk when he was struck.
The names of those involved have not yet been released by police. Information about the victim’s current condition was not made available. Police continue to investigate the Stoughton bicycle accident.
