Worker Dies After Falling Off Forklift in Taunton


September 2, 2009 – Taunton
- 51-year-old Alan Forsyth was killed Monday afternoon after falling off of a forklift in a warehouse in Taunton.

According to reports, the Forsyth was operating the stand-up forklift inside the Super-Dog Pet Food Company around 11:30 a.m. when the device struck one of the building’s support beams, causing Forsyth to fall off the forklift and hit his head on the concrete floor. He was later pronounced dead at Morton Hospital.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the workplace accident.
