Our client a 43 year old woman with symptoms of vascular insufficiency to her lower legs underwent surgery to implant dacron grafts in her femoral arteries to increase blood flow. Following surgery the surgeon prescribed streptokinese allegedly to prevent blood clots. The drug caused the patient to hemorrhage at the graft sites and result in paraplegia.
