- Fox News Radio reported that a 6-year-old girl in Paradise, California suffered a major head injury after being hit by a car. Officers say the child was unable to stop her bike at an intersection and was hit by the car. The girl was ejected from the bike and suffered a head injury and a broken leg, the station reported.
- A Boston Globe report dated June 14, 2009 shares, “A Chicopee driver seriously injured a Springfield boy on a bicycle then fled the scene of the accident yesterday.”
