Unlicensed Lawrence Biker Dies in Crash with SUV

A 25-year-old biker lost his life last night in a tragic collision with an SUV. The young motorcyclist, Johnny Guillermo, was from Lawrence, Massachusetts. He did not have a license, police said.

Guillermo was driving his friend’s Yamaha motorcycle when the crash occurred.

According to news reports, he was going west on Marston Street in Lawrence when he lost control of the motorcycle, went airborne and landed into the eastbound lane, hitting the SUV.

Guillermo was pronounced dead about two hours after the accident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. It is not yet clear if the SUV occupants were injured in the crash.

The Yamaha motorcycle, which was registered to Guilermo’s friend, a Lawrence man, was badly damaged. The far worse damage is the irreparable loss of the young person’s life. We send our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
