2-Yr Old Boy Seriously Injured by Lawnmower

A Newport child, the 2-year-old Jonathan Howe, was seriously injured when he slid into lawnmower being operated by his grandfather, NH police told WMUR.

According to the police the boy was injured yesterday afternoon when the he slipped while running down a slight grade and into the cutting deck of a mower being operated by Larry Mayette Sr. Little Jonathan was flown by helicopter to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

There is no word yet about his condition.

We sincerely hope that Jonathan will soon recover from his injuries.
