Beado Toys Recalled for Choking Hazard
Rhino Toys Inc., the manufacturer of bead play toys is recalling about 5,500 units of the Beado hand-held toys in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The toys were recalled due to choking hazard issues, after discovering the plastic wires can detach from the hubs allowing the beads to slide off and pose a risk of choking to young children playing with the toys.
According to the CPSC website, the recalled products carry the model number 1501 and date code 02910 04323A.
The recalled products were sold at specialty toy stores and juvenile retailers nationwide from March 2010 through May 2010 for around $12.
CPSC advises consumers to stop using the recalled toy and return them for a full refund.
