Connecticut Woman Dies in NH Accident
A 21-year-old woman was killed after a car she was traveling in crashed into a tree breaking it in two, Metro West Daily reports.
According to officials, Dana Poole of East Lyme, CT, was traveling as a passenger in a car operated by Matthew Kelleher, 22, of Ashland. Police said Kelleher lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve and the car veered off the road and into a tree on Weare Road in Henniker, NH.
Kelleher was seriously hurt in the accident which occurred around 11 pm on Friday. Pool, who was thrown from the vehicle in the crash, died at the scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Both people went to New England College.
