Motorcycle Driver Struck and Killed By Van in New Bedford
April 8, 2010 – New Bedford, Massachusetts - On April 3, a man was struck and killed while riding his motorcycle.
The Boston Herald reports that Richard Almeida, 56, of Rochester was riding in New Bedford when a Dodge van attempted to make a left-hand turn onto McCoomb Boulevard. The van collided with the motorcycle rider who was wearing a helmet. This accident is still under investigation.
